The station has two channels. One is a general station, the other concentrates on important events, mainly sports and cultural events. The first channel broadcasts 24 hours. The station broadcasts to 4 million inhabitants in 5 regional centres.

Satelitte Channel is called "RTBF SAT"

The station is financed by the Government of the Communauté Française de Belgique. RTBF also contributes to TV5, ARTE.

Télé Bruxelles (TLB) is a french speaking television covering the Region of Bruxelles-Capitale
(1 018 029 inhabitants) and broadcasting 24 hours a day in four loops.
Besides its information magazines, its cultural and entertainment programmes, TLB produces and broadcasts every day a one hour information programme “L’Autre Journal” which with its different reports, link-up and guests on the set brushes the society facts and social, political, economical, urban, mobility, cultural and sports topics...
Télé Bruxelles is financed by the Commission communautaire française (COCOF) and by the Communauté  française de Belgique.
TLB can be picked up via the cable, on land and mobile telephony.
