Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,

Executive Committee and European Board meetings were held on November 25 and 26, 2005. in Kolding Denmark and I would like to inform you about changes in the Presidency of Circom Regional following recent elections.

First I would like to thank TV Syd, Tim Jonhson and Lene Kruger for excellent organisation of meetings and warm hospitality. We are looking forward to the Annual Conference in 2006.

Circom Regional has a new President. Anita Bhalla from BBC, UK was unanimously elected the new President of Circom Regional. SG and EB members thanked Paolo Morawski, the outgoing President , for his dedication and devotion to Circom Regional in the past two years.

Peter Sauer, BR, Germany was unanimously elected the new Secretary General of Circom Regional, taking office in a year 's time, at the end of 2006 as stipulated in the Statutes.

New members od the Executive Committee elected unanimously are Roel Dijkhuis, RTV Noord, Netherlands and Michael Lally, RTE, Ireland. EC Mandates are exceptionally prolonged for the third year according to the Statute s to Jean-Marie Belin, France 3, France, Manuel Lombao Lombao, RTVE, Spain and Peter Sauer, BR Germany. Piotr Borys, TVP, Poland will stay for another year as EC member.

CR has aslo amended its Statutes. I would like to thank Grethe Haaland, Pierre Couchard, David Lowen and members of EC for their work on the revision of the Statutes that started 3 years ago.

Introduction to Video Journalism Workshop 2, Budapest, Oct. 16th - Oct. 21 st
Senior News Editors Workshop, Strasbourg, Nov. 13th -18 th .

Annual Conference , as you know, will be held from 25/5 – 27/5/06 in Kolding, Denmark in the organisation of TV Syd, Kolding. The invitations will be mailed to you soon. If you want to submit an idea, a speaker or take active part in preparation of the Conference, please write to Lene Kruger at lekr@sydproduktion.dk . Executive Committee and European Board meeting will be on 24/5/06.
Next Annual Conference 2007 will take place in Bilbao, Spain at the kind invitation of the RTVE, Spain

Prix Circom
The dates of the judging are 20/4 – 22/4/04. It will be held in Maribor, Slovenia at the kind invitation of RTV Slovenia , Regional studio Maribor.
Entry Pack will be published soon on the web site and mailed to you via Circom mailing list. Would you please select and send your programmes.
Don't forget that Prix Circom is the unique and only award for regional programmes.
Prix Circom judging in 2007 will take place in France3 Alsace , Strasbourg , France.
