Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,

Executive Committee meeting was held on February 14th 2004 in Strasbourg and I would like to inform you about some details of it and the events that are in front of us.

First I would like to thank FRANCE 3, Jean-Marie Belin, Hubert Schilling and Brigitte Waltsburger for excellent organisation and warm hospitality.

1. Annual Conference , as you know, will be held from 26/5 – 29/5/04 in Wroclaw in the organisation of TVP3. The invitations are mailed and you can find all the information on CR web site.
Next week you will receive the explanation for every Workshop and the name of the relevant Producer. I invite you to give your proposals for speakers and the video material.
European Board meeting will be on 26/5/04 at 14:00.

2. Prix Circom
The dates of the judging are 21/4 – 24/4/04. It will be held in Galway at the kind invitation of TG4.
Entry Pack has been published on the web site. The closing date for entries is Friday, 26 th March. Would you please select and send your programmes. Don't forget that this is the unique and the only award for regional programmes.

3. We have just sent out certain changes for Training to be held in the course of this year, so please read it carefully. One of those changes is that the Wroclaw training is open to all the members and that each member can send one representative.

As to Coproductions , we are currently producing:
The New Teenage Europe , The Last Straight-line, The Front Runners; Families' in Europe and The EU: What's in it for me? are just about to start.

EC has accepted the proposition by Peter Sauer and soon it will be possible for you to preview all CIRCOM Coproductions on Internet and even to download them from the Internet.
