| Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends of CIRCOM,
First of all, on behalf of the CR Secretariat I wish you a Happy and Prosperous New Year, full of personal success and good health.
I hope this will be another prosperous year for CR. It will certainly be a very interesting year because of the Enlargement, the year that will be written with capital letters in the history of Europe. CR definitely has its role in contributing to this great event.
As you already know, our colleague Paolo Morawski (RAI) was elected new President of CR during the European Board meeting in December.
On behalf of all of us, I would like to thank once again to former President of CR, Mr Lefty Kongalides, our colleague and friend, for his effort, work, dedication and above all - his friendship.

New members of Executive Committee are Jean-Marie Belin, Angel Urreiztieta and Peter Sauer. I am sure we shall have a strong and professional EC that will lead CIRCOM Regional professionally and successfully.
Since a particularly active year is ahead of us, may I remind you that the success is closely related to the dedication of every single National Coordinator and the teamwork of all of us together.

I would like to remind you also of the Coproductions:
"The Last Straightline" and "The New Teenage Europe" - that are already going on, and "Frontrunners" and "Families of Europe" - two new Coproductions.
