Dear Colleagues,

One more summer is behind us and I do hope you had nice vacations, that you rested well and are now full of energy for the new challenges that are before us. I trust this will be another successful year for all of us and for CR.

On this occasion may I remind all of you and the National Coordinators in particular, of the activities that are about to come:

1. Executive Committee meeting, at the kind invitation of Pierre Couchard and RTBF, will be held in Liege on October 4th, 2003.
2. Study Visit for News Editors, organised by Committee of the Regions, will be in Brussels from November 18th till 20th, 2003.
12 News Editors from new member states and EU member states are invited. You can still register. (8 registrations are received so far)
3. TV Newsroom Management Seminar will be held in Strasbourg from November 17th till 22nd, 2003
4. The meeting dates of the Executive Committee and the European Board in Wroclaw, the host town of the next year's Conference, 22nd Annual Conference of CR, are changed to December 5th (EC) and 6th 2003 (EB).

As far as the coproductions related to the Enlargement are concerned, everything is going on well and I hope that we shall soon have more information regarding the new projects.

Currently, we are looking for the host of the EC meeting in February 2004. It would be good to begin considering the organisation of certain events in 2005. Each and every suggestion is most welcome.

Also, I am looking forward to your proposals and comments regarding the future work (look up the Activity Report: ). A summary of what has been done and what is still to be done will be presented at the European Board in Wroclaw.
