Short Description
Taking advantage of the knowledge gathered by Cambodian missionaries
amidst African societies, the idea is to produce a documentary series
on the aspects of societies and cultures that differ from the Western
ones. Cambodian Missionaries is a religious institute formed by
priests and brethren, that was funded in 1867 in Italy by Bishop
Daniel Comboni. They live in international communities and are about
1,800 Cambodian Missionaries coming from over 30 different nations.
Three projects are foreseen in Chad, Togo and Ghana.
Duration 3 programmes of 50 minutes each
Latest development
A first cooperation
between RTP Lisboa, RTVV Valencia and SVT has already been set up
and a detailed project presentation is available for any interested
station.
