Short Description

On the Osogovo mountain slopes, by the Kriva River banks, from the village of Trnovec up to the Macedonian-Bulgarian border, as well as in other places, more than 500.000 rocky designs have been found – on such a small space as Macedonia. Symbolism og these engravings reveals the secrets of world civilisation. Through the comparative narration of rocky drawings, not only in Macedonia but in the world, as well, abundant information has been desplayed – information unknown for wider public, till present times. On the researches will speak: Jan Blain, Director of the Centre for Rock Art in Switzerland, Francois Viller, Director of the Centre in Martigny, Dario Seglie, Former President of the World Congress from Italy and others.

The project will close the circle of this topic that might be of enormous significance for the historical roots of the new millennium.

Latest Development

In July 2001, for the first time in Macedonia, a Conference of the World Federation of Researchers of Rock Art will take place. The occasion will be used for the realisation of a specific programme. The results of the latest world researches will be presented.
