CURRENT Coproductions: QUARTETTE
Short Description
Quartette is a new co-production on the cooperation
of the Polish, Czech, Slovak and Hungarian televisions (so called
Visegrad 4 Group). Two regional sations are participating from each
country.
Objective
A regular magazine about common as well as specific
problems and successes of these regions and their inhabitants.
30 minutes programme broadcasted monthly in 4
national televisions and 8 regions since January 2000, based on
the exchange of reports. The shape is different in each country
and the contents are the same. It is not a news magazine, but consists
of short documentaries on human stories.
Principle items
Economy – p.e foreign investments or agricultural
policy with respect of EU rules, People and Social problems – p.e.
solving of unemployment, Science & Education & Lifestyle,
Culture & Art, Family – p.e. partnership over border, Natural
& Cultural monuments of the regions, Traditions & Popular
Culture, etc..
Latest Development
12 programmes were broadcasted in all participating
stations in this last year. Some changes are foreseen to improve
the magazine, broadcasted then again monthly. Since the begining
of 2001, the magazines have been regularly broadcasted on Europe
by Satellite.
