Short Description

A documentary series (6X26min) on market places in Europe.

The idea is to show the market place as a space of life where people meet, shop or eat. It can be a flower, fruit or fish market. It should be located in medium size towns and not in capitals.

Giving a general impression of the culture of its country, of the social life of its inhabitants, of the economic and political situation and of the environment (its geography, climate or architecture) the market is the frame of the programme but it should concentrate on the life and kind of the people going to the market.

A cooperation with the following countries is to be considered :

North of Europe Sweden, Island, Germany, United-Kingdom
South of Europe Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Hungary
Eastern Europe Romania, Hungary, Czech. Republic
