CURRENT Coproductions: DREIERLEI - TRIANGLE

Short Description

Dreierlei/Triangle is a co-production of Suedwestrundfunk Freiburg (Germany), France 3 Alsace Strasbourg and Swiss Television DRS in Zurich. It is a regional magazine for the people living along the border between Lake Constance and Karlsruhe. Although this region is divided by two international borders, the people living there consider it one unified region.

The magazine is produced weekly on the spot in two versions : the German version ”Dreierlei” in Freiburg aired by the German channel of the Suedwestrundfunk. The French version ”Triangle” in Strasbourg, aired by France 3 Alsace.

For the production the three channels exchange produced reports free of charge. On special occasions reports are also produced together.

Latest development

Because of the success of this coproduction, a similar project called „Vis-à-Vis“ has been launched between France 3 Alsace and SWR Freiburg. For details, see the description page under „New Projects“
