IN EUROPE - THE RHINE
Short Description
The idea of this co-production proposal was that European regional
TV stations produce a report about a typical river in their country.
The working title could be ”Rhine, Thames, Po, ...”. Each country
is supposed to contribute a programme about a national river. The
Italians could offer a programme on the Po, the English on the Thames,
etc...

A co-production pool on the Rhine was created and programme exchange
has already been achieved. For further information about this specific
co-production,
Latest Development
SWF (Germany) has started a co-production on the Danube. It deals
with the Danube itself and all the rivers connected with it. As
there is a great interest in co-producing on this topic and as many
stations already have some programmes on it (e.g. in Italy, Croatia,
Germany and Poland), an exchange of material on the Danube has been
