Short Description
Wherever one comes from, whatever language one speaks, everyone
understands these words. They stand for an individual culture of
eating, drinking and socializing. The idea is that several regional
tv stations produce a report about a special and typical institution
where they meet after work or on weekends. It aims to show the meeting
place itself as well as the lifestyle of the people living in that
region who go there.

Latest Development
BR Munich is producing and transmitting
a programme dealing with this topic called ”Café Europa” describing
a typical meeting place (pub, restaurant, café, etc...) followed
by a round table with native artists speaking German. There are
already programmes from Bratislava, Cracow, Budapest, Belgrade,
Vienna and Bucharest.
Editorial line proposed for a CIRCOM co-production : a well-known
personality presents a (favourite) typical wine cellar, pub, café,
bistrot or restaurant of his/her home region in a length of 15 min.
Technical guidelines : Beta SP,IT, no titles, no inserts. No co-production
was achieved on this project.
